# Mathematics

Definitions, theorems, methods and intuitions across pure and applied mathematics, including the parts that underpin computing, statistics and machine learning.

A good mathematics page gives the definition first, then the intuition, then the key results and where they are used. Use plain notation that survives copy and paste (write x^2, sum over i, and so on) unless a formula is genuinely clearer in another form, and always give a small worked example.
